C D E F G A B CC = 1 D = 2 E = 3 F = 4 G = 5 A = 6 B = 7You can look at this many ways.You can just take tones 1, 3, and 5 and flat the 3 and 5.So that would be C, E, and G but you’d flat the E, making it Eb and the G, making it Gb.C diminished = C…Continue

Comment by Jerry Lynn on September 20, 2012 at 1:16pm Move your patch chord into the Low Gain input
High 4
mid 6
low 9
reverb 2
presence 6
shift 12
pre gain 2 to 3 should be plenty fr sitting around the house
sensitivity for around the house 3 or 4 should be good.
If you find that you dont like these settings start with the pre gain and sensitivity and adjust from these positions to your liking. Same with other settings but adjust 1 notch at a time stopping and playing something and listening to what changed and where you want to go.

Comment by Jerry Lynn on September 12, 2012 at 10:51pm Here is another little thing that most of you are missing out on or just havnt noticed it. Take the C chord at the 8th fret and write down the notes in the 345, 456, 568, and 6810 triads. Now notice how each grouping has the same identical notes but in different possitions.
For Instance 345 the notes are E C and G
456 the notes are C G and E
568 notes are G E and C
6710 notes are E C and G
notice all 4 triads have the same notes but arranged in diff orders.
Comment by Jerry Lynn on September 10, 2012 at 8:19pm Here's a chromatic scale with the notes of the Cdim7 chord in bold italic:
C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A Bb B C
As you can see, the notes of the chord are all 3 half-steps apart. This makes the entire chord repeatable in a higher or lower inversion by simply moving the bar 3 frets up or down on the fretboard.
