Alex, thanks for posting "Sleepwalk".  It sounds like you are starting to get the hang of it.  I would suggest that you work on the pitch more.  Try to be more spot on with the tones you are attempting to hit.  You can play your own interpretation of the song. Many do that.  Just make sure you are on pitch before you release the song.  Thanks again.

I play piano and cello.  I would like to begin study on the pedal steel as I like what can be done with it.  Do you think the pedal steel can be a solo instrument as mostly people play with a group or backup?

Thanks for the request to be a friend.  I am working but slowly on getting a pedal steel. Love the music a person can do on a steel.  Nic has some wonderful music on his page. How long have you been playing pedal steel?  Good idea to have lessons from very beginning.  Maybe video or maybe just audio with pictures.   Thanks, Dennis
