Hi Larry, welcome, I also am a retired guy trying to learn the Pedal Steel Guitar. If you get a chance drop in on us tonight at the "Beginner's Group". We meet every Monday night at 9 EST where we are learning the basics of how to play the Pedal Steel Guitar. We are having a really good time with this. You can find the link on the main page. We are having a really good time chatting and getting lots of new stuff about the pedal Steel. Also, we have a chat time on Thursday nights as well just to chat and learn what we can.
