Profile Information

Tell us a little about your background: It was the spring of 1975 that I saw for the first time the Pedal Steel Guitar and to hear that beautiful sound coming from it just amazed me. I had to have one so i got a student model SHO-BUD maverick from a local music store to start with and what a nightmare that was . So I moved onto a 10 string Single Neck Pro I SHO-BUD that I bought new from the same store . Ever night as soon as I got home from work I was toying with the mechanical thing, did'nt have a teacher nor any idea how to tune the beast.
So I got a book on Steel Guitars and bought several 33 albums that had Steel Guitar on them and tought myself whitch may have been the wrong way but it was my way. Ive had several guitars and played in many bands over the years and in my opion there will never be an insterment that sounds as beautiful as the Steel Guitar !
