My msa classic 1978 sounds fine but i thought it lacked top end sparkle. I decided to fit a George Els e66 pickup. I played a gig last night in durham and found the sparkle was definately there but at the expense of that lovely bottom end from my supersustain pickup. What i have learned from this is that i should learn to play better to take advantage of the supersustain sound rather then trying to buy a sound.
