where steel guitar players connect
I've asked this question before but never got a definitive answer. I've got an 1974 Emmons D-10/8/4 push/pull that has severe crackling(alligatoring) and am thinking of having it refinished. WilIfl this hurt or help the resale value of this equipment? If it will help, does anyone know of a reputable refinisher in the Central Florida area?. Thanks for the group and all the great info y'all provide. Also check out Wild Blue Yonder ( the United State Air Force Academy country band). Jeff does a great job on his D-10 Zumsteel. They came to Sanford, Fl for their street fest and they were great. Hope to see them in Nashville or Branson soon.
