Thanks Lin for the compliment. I continue to strive to get out all the kinks and mistakes. I guess for only 3 1/2 months of practicing and playing it's alright. It's definitely not the easiest instrument to learn but it sure is fun even though it seems like work.
The Good Lord willing I'll get better as time goes by and maybe in a year or two this song will *sound* perfect.
I've been working on "Christmas Island" and I'm trying to get the chimes down. I know that each player has there own way of getting them but I've been having a problem using my palm so I've been trying them with my ring finger folded in against the palm of my hand and using the the side of my finger or the 1st knuckle.
Lots of work but the end product will be worth it.
I'll post my vid of sleep walk, because I haven't learned to chime yet I do the 3 - 5 - 12 - 7 slide un-chimed. Once I get the chimes down I'll do a remake.
Thanks again
The Lord Bless
David
